Bruce Lee's One inch Punch

The Science
Previous studies have shown that the forces generated in a karate punch is not determined by muscular strength but by the brain & nervous system.
In this recent study, researchers looked for differences in brain structure between 12 karate practitioners with a black belt rank and an average of 13.8 years’ karate experience, and 12 control subjects of similar age who exercised regularly but did not have any martial arts experience.
In the first part of the study, the researchers measure the short range (5 cm) punching power of all 24 test subjects by means of infrared markers on their arms & torsos. As expected, the karate masters punched harder than the control subjects.
Analysis of punch biomechanics and brain function revealed the reasons for the difference in punching power.
  • The researchers found that punching power depends on timing.
  • Specifically, punching force correlated with how well the movement of the wrists and shoulders were synchronized.
  • In short, technique + muscular power = Bruce Lee kicking your butt.
  • To test brain function, they used diffusion tensor imaging to scan the grey matter (main body of nerve cells) and white matter (bundles of fibres that carry signals from one region of the brain to another) of the test subjects’ brains.
And what they found is that there were major structural differences in the white matter of the cerebellums and primary motor cortex of the karate masters.
It was these differences in the cerebellum that correlated with the synchronicity of the subjects’ wrist and shoulder movements that produced the larger punching forces.

How to Kill a Fly or Mosquito by thrust of your fist?

Miyagi to catch a fly using Chopsticks
I'm sure many of you reading this knew in advance where the name for this technique comes from. It is in reference to the karate master, Mr. Miyagi, from the movie "The Karate Kid". In this movie, Mr. Miyagi attempts to catch a fly with chopsticks. As you can imagine, this is a very difficult task to master and takes a lot of practice and patience. The good news is that while you are practicing, you will also more than likely become an expert at manipulating and using chopsticks.
Can we knock the fly fainted by your fist!?
When I visited Customers with our colleague, we had been trapped in a small meeting awaiting the GM is busy in another meeting. Air con was not cold enough and I saw two flies which were disturbing us and Mario, I was a monk in heart but for more than twenty minutes I Could not stand anymore. I used the furious speed of fist to punch at one of the flies.. well, as expected it fainted, Mario was shocked., and he challenged me that was only luck, well, I did the same on the second one.. it was fainted and dropped on to the floor.
Another time I had tried bigger mosquito, especially those how has been eaten full stomach of blood from some one fat like I which you can se they are moving sluggishly.
Do practice fastest possible speed of punching your fist at the air. Try to hit the point 10 cm further away form your target, hold you breathe and stretch your fist as fast as your can. You can feel the air would be thrust forward! And use the fastest retractable speed for return. Hit the object in the shortest time. That would cause minimum pain to your fist. In case for hitting on stone and steel plate. That the force of you fist would knock down the fly.
Try practice this way to punch the flies… if you can make it fainted or even killed. You are the MASTER of the Kung Fu!

Wendi Teng

A great British tradition of creamy plate full hurling was maintained when Murdoch nearly took one in the hooter near the end of his long interrogation by MPs.
This billionaire media tycoon, powerful old fellow in the world, appeared in the public assembly of our ancient, satirical isles and found himself under attack by the custard pie. The assailant, a scruffy chap, had not reckoned with Wendi Deng, the third Mrs. Murdoch who was sitting behind her husband throughout the hearing, maintaining the elegant poise of a CX stewardess. From side to side did she lean her long hair, lean-necked, devotion in fuchsia. Then, in the last dibs, she leapt into action in matters of Milliseconds, right claw coming down swiftly hard in the direction of Matey in the lumberjack shirt, faster than anyt cameras could catch!
Wendi Teng is the fierce Chinese Kung Fu Crouching Tiger!

Remembering Bruce Lee

In 1972, there was one interview on Bruce Lee, who used to make some jokes and then showed a bit Kung Fu to all the people watching on the TV hottest programme EYT (Enjoy Yourself Tonight) ...Some time he brought his 6 years old son Brandon Lee as well.
Bruce started the story with his funny action in front of us.
Well there is there men who happened in one day to meet in a place for discussion on their Kung Fu, shooting and Japanese sword.

There was an American dressed up like a cowboy, who put up a pistol and shot at a Fly, The fly was killed!
Then came a Samurai who pulledl out his Sword and chopped onto a flying fly, the fly was cut off into two pieces! Dead of course!
People applaused!
Then came a Chinese thin man, who used his Chinese Sword and swung onto a fly I the air...in less than half a second, but the fly still managed to fly away! Though look a bit slower!
And people was shocked!!! Simply because it seemed the Chinese man had missed to kill the fly... Bruce Lee grinned, "Well! In fact, It has been just castrated!

Tyson and Stallone was induced into International Boxing hall of Fame in US

Mike Tyson, the once proclaimed “The Baddest Man in the Planet,” was induced into International Boxing Hall of Fame on 12 June Along with Actor Sylvester Stallone? yes! Sylvester Stallone!
Two individual memory clips about these two men came to my mind: Mike won the WBC title when he was 20 years, 4 months and 22 days old. He slammed the opponent in just a minute, his Fist was powerful and fast that almost camera could not capture it. Stallone, who could understand the 44-years old Tyson’s mind set about his career, who penned the script about an underdog boxer from Philadelphia named Rocky Balboa and then played the part in the Movies… I remember that he put a few eggs into a glass and drank before he ran across the street in the Philadelphia at dawn …Moved up step to the City Hall of Philadelphia, stretched his arms in air, danced… deliberating Rocky’s Fighting spirit before the boxing.
